Event Format

Tournament Format

The Baisakhi Open World Cup Golf is a two-day tournament played in the best Punjabi spirit of Chardi Kala at Pacific Palms Resort's two premier courses.

Day 1 – Net Handicap Format

Players compete on the Zaharia's (Babe) Course using a net handicap scoring system. Full GHIN handicaps are used. Shotgun start at 11:00 am.

Day 2 – Gross Score Format

Day two is played on the Eisenhower (IKE) Course using gross scoring. Flights are assigned based on Day 1 results. Shotgun start at 11:00 am.

Flights

Players are divided into three flights based on handicap:

• Flight A – Low handicap players
• Flight B – Mid handicap players
• Flight C – High handicap players

Prizes & Awards

• Flight Champions (1st, 2nd, 3rd per flight)
• Closest to Pin
• Longest Drive
• Overall Low Gross Champion
• Overall Low Net Champion

Awards Dinner

Prize giving ceremony takes place at the Awards Dinner on the evening of Day 2 at the Colonial Ball Room, Pacific Palms Resort.
